Mesa County Public Health (MCPH) has been made aware of a recall involving two varieties of egg custard steamed buns.

After a national search and sixteen applications, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners was unified Tuesday in supporting Todd Hollenbeck's promotion from Deputy County Administrator to County Administrator, effective Jan. 4, 2025. This decision follows ​Pete Baier's upcoming retirement. Baier has dedicated 28 years of service to the county.

The 29 Road interchange is a key component of a larger collaborative project with the City of Grand Junction, a vision that has been in development since the 1980s. Its completion would finalize a loop of transportation corridors designed to reduce traffic congestion, enhance safety, and improve accessibility throughout Mesa County and Grand Junction.

Professionals, first responders, advocates, and community members will gather together on August 28, 2024 at Colorado Mesa University for the Western Colorado Transportation Safety Symposium.
