The Mesa County Storm Drain Art Project is a community-driven initiative that aims to raise awareness about the importance of keeping our waterways clean. By transforming storm drain inlets into vibrant works of art, the project seeks to educate the public about the impact of pollution on our local environment.

The Mesa County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a ballot measure that will go before voters this November to fund the long-awaited 29 Road interchange project. The measure will not raise taxes but allow the County and the City of Grand Junction to bond for up to $80 million to complete this critical infrastructure improvement.

When the Clifton Community Campus opened its doors this summer, several resources became available for the Clifton community and surrounding areas. One of the agencies housed at the Clifton Community Campus is Mesa County Partnership for Children and Families.

The Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved a contract to buy the property at 3249 E Road in Clifton for $315,000 during their Aug. 27 public hearing. The purchase of this property is necessary to safely complete the County’s 32 1⁄2 Road Corridor and E Road Corridor Improvement Projects — and will allow Mesa County to connect 32 ½ Road with E Road.

Mesa County Workforce Center is hosting its Fall Job Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 17th. This annual event has been a huge success for Mesa County employers and job seekers alike.
