Mesa County Workforce Center is hosting its Fall Job Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 17th. This annual event has been a huge success for Mesa County employers and job seekers alike.

With nearly 50 employers from various industries hiring all levels of positions, attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and dress for success. There is no cost for employers or job seekers to attend. Job seekers may create accounts on ConnectingColorado.com

When: 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17th
Where: Mesa County Workforce Center, 512 29 ½ Rd.

"We are excited to bring together local businesses and job seekers at our annual fall job fair,” says Employment Services Supervisor Tabi Britt. “This event is a great opportunity to explore new career paths and connect with potential employers from a variety of industries. We encourage everyone to come see what the local job market has to offer!"

The first half hour of the job fair (12:30-1 p.m.) will be available exclusively to Veterans and those that participate in our Job Fair Prep Workshop. The workshop is offered in-person on Tuesday, Sept. 10th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Workshop topics will include:

• Preparing for a Job Fair
• Resume tips
• Crafting an Elevator Pitch
• Job Fair Dos and Don’ts
• Dressing for success
