Mesa County will undertake a road resurfacing project starting Sept. 30 to improve road quality and safety on several roads in the Loma and Relands areas. The project will operate Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and is anticipated to be completed by mid-October.

Project Locations

  • 12 Road: From US 6 to O Road in Loma
  • E Road: From 23 Road to Vista Grande Road in the Redlands
  • S. Broadway: From CO 340 to 20 Road in the Redlands

Scope of Work

The project includes milling 2 inches of existing asphalt and applying a 2-inch hot mix asphalt overlay. This work is essential for maintaining and enhancing the road surface.

Schedule

  • Start Date: Sept. 30
  • Expected Completion: Mid-October
  • Working Hours: Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Travel & Traffic Impacts

  • One-lane alternating traffic will be in effect — with traffic control measures in place.
  • Minor delays are expected, and drivers should follow posted detours.
