In a display of collaboration, several Mesa County agencies joined forces with community partners to extend a helping hand to individuals in need.

Mesa County's Code Compliance Services and Adult Protection partnered on a collective effort to address a junk violation issue on a property in Fruitvale. This situation is unique because the property owner and her son are physically disabled.

Recognizing the challenging situation, Code Compliance Services reached out to Mesa County Solid Waste Management and engaged the support of the local community. Eager to serve the community, Jaw Junk Logistics LLC, Colorado Mesa University students, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Just Serve Committee teamed up to help.

The heartwarming story of collaborating to help those in need is a testament to the strength of community bonds and the impact that collective action can have.
